Our cabin at 3 J Ranch Bed
and Breakfast is located on a working ranch near
Fredericksburg, Texas. Built in the style of an early
Pioneer Texas House, the "Pump House" (as we call it) offers
you a comfortable, relaxing getaway from the hectic pace of
everyday life. Unique antiques are used to furnish the
house. The heater and air conditioner in the living
room keep the whole cabin comfortable in all types of
weather. |

wife and I come to Fredericksburg several times a
year, and by far this is the most peaceful place
we have stayed. You are indeed blessed, and we
thank you for sharing a part of it with us. We

In the living room we have a television, VCR, and DVD
player with a good selection of movies. There is a
comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa, if you need room
for more than two persons. The cabin can accommodate up
to four guests. Our old spinning
 wheel
is a reminder that in the 1870's, sheep were raised on
this land and wool was spun into thread for cloth.
The washstand in the bathroom came from England in the
1800's. The beautiful ceramic tile and marble from
Mexico, Germany, and Spain give the bathroom and kitchen
interesting accents. The tiled shower has a marble
seat where you can sit and relax while bathing. |

Our complete kitchen, with
full-size refrigerator, range, and microwave oven, is
there for your use. Pots, pans, and dishes are
furnished. You can use the unique, adjustable table and
chairs that once graced a kitchen from a much earlier
century. Coffee, herbal teas, and a coffeepot are
furnished. Pastries, cereal and oatmeal will be found on
the table for your breakfast. Milk, juice, and fruit
will be in the refrigerator. |

The bedroom is the perfect nest to come home to at the
end of a busy day of sight-seeing or shopping in
Fredericksburg, TX or one of our surrounding towns. It
is furnished with a gorgeous, antique bedroom set -
complete with queen-size bed, wash stand, and dresser.Our two
outside porches give you plenty of room to sit and relax
and take in the fresh country air in the morning or
afternoon. |
